Free Workshop supported by Wood St. Collective; Wood St. Collective Farm in Englewood​

Blank Tshirts will be participants' canvas of creativity and an outlet to learn about the environment around them from a variety of Plant species designs on stencils to spray paint onto their shirt with the quote “ Gardening is my graffiti, I grow my art” on the front.  While painting their shirts they will learn the characteristics, uses, and meaning behind each species and how it may and can represent them as individuals. As a take away learning opportunity and provide free resources to enable participants to initiative in their own backyard neighborhood they will be able to build their own seed shakers or seed packets to take with them and plant where they paint. Reconnecting those with the surrounding environment and shifting their lens of appreciation to the growing world in their backyard. ​​
